Role Overview

The Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving beverages to a consistently high standard while delivering an engaging, efficient, and professional guest experience at the bar. This role combines technical execution with strong service awareness and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

Beverage Preparation & Service

• Prepare cocktails, spirits, wines, and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes

• Maintain speed, accuracy, and consistency during service

• Ensure correct glassware, garnishes, and presentation

Guest Engagement

• Interact confidently with guests at the bar

• Provide menu and beverage recommendations

• Support upselling in line with service standards

Operational Support

• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of bar stations

• Follow stock handling, portioning, and waste control procedures

• Support stock counts and deliveries as required

Standards & Compliance

• Comply with hygiene, safety, and licensing regulations

• Maintain professional grooming and brand representation

• Support opening and closing bar procedures

• Beverage quality and accuracy

Candidate Requirements

• 2-4 years’ experience as a bartender in a quality venue

• Strong knowledge of spirits, cocktails, and bar service

• Ability to work efficiently under pressure

• Professional attitude and strong teamwork skills
