Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Accountant with strong Hospitality / F&B multi-unit exposure to support our growing operations. The role will be responsible for end-to-end accounting, financial reporting, compliance, and supporting operational teams in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
This position requires hands-on accounting expertise, deep IFRS knowledge, and the ability to manage tight closing deadlines across multiple outlets.
Key Responsibilities
Manage month-end and year-end closing processes for multi-unit F&B operations
Prepare and review financial statements including Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow
Perform balance sheet reconciliations, variance analysis, and financial controls
Ensure compliance with IFRS standards, including IFRS 16, IFRS 10, IAS 37
Support budget preparation, forecasting, and monthly budget vs. actual analysis
Oversee accounting entries related to inventory, cost of sales, and material control
Work closely with operations teams to analyze food & beverage costs, margins, and wastage
Ensure accurate accounting integration between ERP, POS, and inventory systems
Handle UAE VAT compliance, filings, and reconciliations
Support UAE Corporate Tax requirements, documentation, and reporting
Assist with internal and external audits and respond to auditor queries
Continuously improve accounting processes and internal controls
Key Requirements & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
OR part/full professional qualification (CA / ACCA / CIMA / CMA)
5-7 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably within UAE or GCC
Mandatory experience in Hospitality / F&B, ideally within a multi-unit organization
Strong hands-on experience with ERP / accounting systems, POS, and inventory/material control systems
Solid understanding of IFRS, particularly IFRS 16, IFRS 10, IAS 37
Proven experience in financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end closing
Strong knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax
Advanced MS Excel skills with strong reporting and data analysis capability
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven F&B / Leisure environment
